So we were on a routine mission today and our lead truck hit our platoon's first IED. It was a pressure wire device that when the truck rolls over it, it presses a pair of wires together to complete the circuit and explode. It was two 130mm rounds. No one was hurt and the truck did not even get a scratch on it. We are starting to like these trucks.

My son David Martin just arrived there. He is a K9 handler. Just curious if you might have met him?

Re: Our first IED
We have a K9 here named Spc Martin. Just got here on our base a few days ago. He seems like a good guy.
